$11m rail project

THE State Government has committed to spend $10.9 million upgrading rail infrastructure in the South West to boost the volume of timber and woodchips carried on rail.

The spending aims to ensure that WA Plantation Resources, which operates a woodchip mill at Manjimup and plans to build a larger mill at Bunbury, maximises its use of rail.
