Wayne Belcher OAM became a Pastor with Lake Joondalup Baptist Church in July 2011. He had worked in the aged care industry for almost 30 years.
Mr Belcher was chief executive of The Bethanie Group for 17 years, a director and interim chief executive of Baptistcare, and was chief executive of Braemar Presbyterian Care from March 2017 to November 2019 before retiring.
In 2007, Mr Belcher was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in recognition of his significant contribution to community services, predominately in residential and community based aged care.
