Dr Shuang (Shaun) Ren has over 30 years of experience in the international mining industry. His experience covers base metals, precious metals and ferrous metals from exploration, feasibility, project development to mining.
Dr Ren was involved in the exploration and development of the Northparkes mine in New South Wales, Kanowna Belle mine in Western Australia, and the Lanping Zn-Pb mine in China. He had also held senior positions at North, Billiton, Placer Dome, AngloGold Ashanti, Citic Pacific Mining and Standard Iron.
Holding a doctoral degree in Economic Geology from Australian National University, Dr Ren has acted as a competent person for a range of reports to the Australia Stock Exchange.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Geological Society of Australia.
