Roger Hussey
Roger Hussey was a company director with broad experience across government and private sector roles. His roles included being deputy chair of state government agency Landgate, having joined its board in 2012. He was appointed to the board of Bethanie in November 2014, and is believed to have left the board in early 2017. His recent past roles included being chair of the Southern Ports Authority and the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science (formerly the Western Australian Neuroscience Research Institute). Mr Hussey was also previously chairman of Princess Margaret Hospital, Telethon Child Health Research Institute, Agwest Trade Development, TAB (WA) and Bali Eye Foundation. In his corporate career, he was chairman and CEO of Century Holdings and became chairman of other ASX companies involved in mining and industrial activities, such as Metro Industries, Parbury Henty and Cougar Metals. Mr Hussey had also been a senior strategy consultant with KPMG and Deloitte. Mr Hussey passed away in July 2017 at the age of 71, after a parasailing accident in Thailand.
