Ralph Addis is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience within the private, not-for-profit and government sectors. He has a natural affinity for regional Western Australia, having grown up on a farm at Cranbrook and spent much of his working life in Kununurra.
Mr Addis has been the director general at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development since November 2014 when it was then known as the Department of Regional Development.
He was chair of the Kimberley Development Commission.
Mr Addis holds a degree in Commerce, a Master of Agricultural Economics, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
