Starting at Ernst & Young as a graduate, within 5 years Michael Anghie had been promoted to the position of Senior Manager in the Audit Division and was running the firm’s largest account, Wesfarmers. At the age of 28, Michael left Ernst & Young to establish the corporate finance team at Hall Chadwick, later moving on to co-found the ASX listed Australian Liquor Group Ltd. In September 2000, at the age of 30 Michael returned to Ernst & Young as a Partner in Corporate Finance and in 2006 was appointed as the Ernst & Young Divisional Director, Transaction Advisory Services. He left EY in 2018 to join APM as chief executive.
