Melanie Cave is a partner in Freehills’ Perth office. She specialises in advice for the procurement of infrastructure, advising on several ‘firsts’ for projects in the water and waste industries in Australia and internationally. Ms Cave leads Freehills’ national waste focus group and actively participates in shaping policy in the waste sector. She is actively involved in community initiatives.
In 2009, she was awarded the Law Council of Australia’s Young Environmental Lawyer of the Year.
