Mark Turner is a mining engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the resources sector. He has been responsible for the start-up and operation of mines in Australia, Africa and Asia.
Mr Turner was general manager of operations at Resolute Mining, one of Australia’s largest gold producers. He was also chief operating officer of CGA Mining, before its takeover by B2 Gold for C$1.1 billion in 2010. Mr Turner is the chief operating officer of RTG Mining.
He holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and is Fellow of the AUSIMM.
