Lucas Stanfield is a mining engineer with over 15 years’ experience in mining and project management in Australia, Africa, and the United Kingdom. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from the University of New South Wales in 1998. Mr Stanfield has been with Peak Resources for over 5 years, commencing as manager for the Company’s scoping, preliminary feasibility, refinery location selection and bankable feasibility studies. He spent a considerable amount of time in Tanzania representing the Company and has an excellent working relationship with all stakeholders in the country and is very well placed to further advance the Ngualla Project. Mr Stanfield was appointed Peak's general manager of development in October 2017 and is responsible for the company's activities in Tanzania.
