Julie Bishop

Julie Bishop is a senior national political figure, representing the Liberal Party in the seat of Curtin in WA. She was deputy leader of the federal Liberal Party from 2007-2018 and Foreign Minister from 2013-18. Ms Bishop retired from politics in April 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Law and has completed the advanced management program for senior managers at Harvard Business School. Ms Bishop was a partner of law firms, Clayton Utz and Mangan Ey & Bishop. She held several positions including as chair of the WA Town Planning Appeals Tribunal, member of Murdoch University Senate, director of SBS (TV & Radio), and is a board member of the Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA).
