Dr Julia Reisser is a marine scientist with over 15 years of experience in leading research and development programs for universities, technology companies and foundations including The Ocean Cleanup, the Australian Institute of Marine Science, and with Andrew and Nicola Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation.
Dr Reisser is the co-founder of biotechnology startup ULUU, and an Adjunct Fellow at the University of Western Australia.
She holds a PhD, Masters and Honours degree in Oceanography.
