Ian Wallace

Ian Wallace has a long career in mining, project development and exploration across base and precious metals, coal and coal seam gas. He held business, commercial and stakeholder engagement management positions with a number of junior, mid-tier and global resource companies for over 17 years, as well as a further 10 years with BHP and 5 years with Anglo American. Mr Wallace understands the benefits that flow from partnering with Indigenous people, property owners and the communities in which exploration and mining is being undertaken. He negotiated many joint ventures, project sales and acquisitions across a mix of resource projects and has concluded many successful transactions with government, optimising resource project development outcomes for the companies he worked for.
