Darren Cooper has worked in the financial services and property industries for more than 20 years. He is chairman of labour hire firm The Go2 People and a private property development company.
Mr Cooper was chief executive of private apartment developer Blackburne from 2014 to 2017, and chief operating officer at ASX-listed Peet from 2008 to March 2014. Prior to joining Peet, he spent 10 years with Mirvac Western Australia in a number of senior roles, including more than four years as development director. He was previously at Bankwest where he held various roles in land development, commercial banking, resource banking and project finance, before helping to establish the bank’s specialist property finance unit.
Mr Cooper was past-president of the Urban Development Institute (WA) and a former UDIA national councillor.
