He was elected Lord Mayor of the City of Perth in 2025 after serving as a Councillor from 2023 and as Deputy Lord Mayor in 2024.

He is the founder of Crush, a marketing and communications consultancy established in 1996 and Crush Realty, a real estate agency established in 2015.

Mr Reynolds has also fostered hospitality interests, establishing Perth CBD Cafe Braddock's Dispensary in 2018.
