Bob Bunning
Bob Bunning is a third generation member of the prominent WA business family that played a major role in development of the state’s timber and hardware industries. The family business was jointly established by his grandfather Robert in 1886. Bob joined the family business in the 1960s as it expanded its timber interests. It later moved into woodchipping and hardware. He resigned in 1990 after Wesfarmers became a major shareholder. (Wesfarmers acquired full ownership in 1994.) Bob has continued to be a big investor in forestry, initially through Integrated Tree Cropping and later Santanol. Bob is chairman of private company Aileendonan Investments.
