Associate Professor Andrew Whitehouse joined the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research in February 2009, building a world-leading team of 13 researchers who investigate the causes of and treatments for numerous crippling disorders. As the youngest member of the team, Professor Andrew was elected to the Institute’s Senior Management Committee. His research has been profiled in TIME, the New York Times, The Economist, The Australian, as well as on BBC, CNN and local television channels.
He writes regular columns on child development and delivers presentations to community stakeholders promoting healthy child development.
Before his influential work in Australia, Professor Andrew was a Scott Family Fellow with the University of Oxford, the youngest person to have held this prestigious post.
