AssociationsThe Work Health & Safety Foundation (WHS Foundation), formerly the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP), was established in 1972. It is Western Australia’s only not-for-profit work health and safety training and service provider.
The WHS Foundation serves the community as a relevant and valued social-purpose organisation, advocating, educating and facilitating the enablement of safer, healthier work. Its organisational values are Quality, Integrity, Reliability, Positivity and Humanity.
In March 2022 IFAP rebranded as the Work Health & Safety Foundation, trading as the WHS Foundation. The name change reflects a modernisation of its brand and alignment with the new harmonised WHS laws now operating in Western Australia.
