From startup in 2008, Total Green Recycling has grown from recycling 61 tonnes of e-waste in its first year to more than 1,800t in 2015. TGR now services 53 councils and collects e-waste from thousands of small and large businesses.
In the course of its history, TGR has diverted more than 7,800t of e-waste from landfill, including 205t of toxic lead. It has also provided jobs for people with disabilities through a partnership with Rocky Bay.
