Its members’ services include residential care, community services, independent living, dementia support, respite care, mental health services (in WA only) and disability services (VIC and QLD only).
Since 1966, Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc has been committed to helping almost 3000 Western Australians access a choice of quality care services in their own homes or at one of its 17 retirement villages and residential aged care facilities.
Southern Cross Care was founded in each state by the Knights of the Southern Cross, an order of Catholic laymen “established in 1919 to help fellow Catholics obtain work and to support each other’s families to live their Catholic Faith.”
