BBI Group (Balla Balla Infrastructure Group) is jointly owned by Todd Corporation Ltd and Nyco Pty Ltd.
Sydney-based ASX-listed Forge Resources was established in 2009 and aimed to be a player in bulk commodities and specialty metals. It had projects in the Pilbara and West Eucla, notably the Balla Balla iron ore project. It later changed name to Rutila Resources. Rutila was acquired by its Balla Balla joint venture partner Todd Corporation in July 2015, and was renamed BBI Group. Minority shareholder Nyco is the trustee for Forge Resources founder Nicholas Curtis' superannuation fund.
