iCollege launches learning portfolio

Recently listed Perth-based education provider iCollege will today launch a portfolio of 26 online courses, seven weeks ahead of schedule.

The courses on offer will focus primarily on business, sales and management and will cater for vocational students across Australia, as well as the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and Singapore.

iCollege managing director Victor Hawkins said the company was looking to leverage off the growth being exhibited in the online education sector.

A recent IBISWorld report forecast annual revenue generated by online education providers in Australia would rise by 10.4 per cent in 2014-15 to $6.5 billion.

iCollege listed on the ASX in early May in the shell of former video projection developer DGI Holdings, while Mr Hawkins said the team had worked tirelessly to deliver its new website ahead of schedule.

"The iCollege online educational offering is uniquely customised, accessible and affordable for students," he said.

"Our training programs are sourced globally and presented in a way that students can select the units they need in order to sustain or enhance their career."

Mr Hawkins said iCollege would expand its range of courses over the next year to include hospitality, education, community services, retail, health and tourism.
