Visagio appoints four new partners

Global technology consultancy Visagio has appointed four of its former interns as associate partners, with three based in Perth.

Visagio last week appointed Raissa Amaral, Luan Mai, Alexandre Sander as partners at its Perth office, and Jack Hill as a Sydney-based partner.

Ms Amaral joined the company as an intern at Visagio’s Brazil office in 2016, before moving to Perth.

She will focus on Visagio’s v(dev) business unit that develops and improve software solutions for the company’s clients.

Mr Mai joined Visagio as an intern in 2017 and has led 15 projects for mining, logistics and agriculture companies since.

His areas of responsibility include overseeing the company’s business unit VLabs, focusing on advanced analytics and AI projects, across the country.

Mr Sander started as an intern at the company’s Brazil operations in 2015 and was transferred to Australia in 2018.

He will focus on another Visagio unit, VTec, that covers business intelligence and data management.

Mr Hill was an intern at Visagio in 2018 and moved to Sydney three years ago to support the company’s east coast expansion.

Visagio managing partner Monique Mattos Vimercati said the new partners would play a pivotal role in supporting the business expansion and advancing the units VLabs, v(dev), and VTec.

“We have been on an incredible journey since starting our operations in Perth, now having offices on both the east and west coast and a growing team of 110 people,” she said.

“We pride ourselves on being a people platform, and having our talents starting as interns and being promoted to partners is a testament to our commitment to their continued development.”

Visagio was founded at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 2003.

The company has other offices worldwide, including in Sao Paulo, Perth, Sydney and London.
