On Wednesday August 25 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold the Spirit of Marketing.
As marketing is an integral component in business the seminar will address different strategies that can be implemented by both small and large organisations to build and develop their business.
The workshop aims to provide businesses with strategic marketing directions by outlining the principles of effective marketing and the tools and techniques that can be applied to grow a business.
The seminar will feature two guest speakers; founder of Spirit Marketing Mark Forrest, who has spent time as a consultant for Ancol-Newspower, Skippers Group, Hawaiian Management Group and Hayes Knight GTO Accountants; and marketing consultant Martin Reed who has worked with companies including Linneys, Proctor and Gamble, Sara Lee and Nestle.
Topics covered over the course of the day will include how to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to out-perform competitors, how to retain existing customers and acquire new ones and how to use promotional marketing activities such as advertising and public relations to build awareness and interest in your business.
The day will culminate in combining these elements to create a marketing plan that is viable and that will be implemented.
Registrations for this event can be made with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA for CCI members $330, and non-members $495.
