WA-OWNED company Kinetic IT has won a contract worth more than $100 million to supply Landgate’s operational infrastructure technology services. The contract, secured through a tender process, will allow Kinetic to oversee the management of Landgate’s server’s storage, network, desktop and security information. The IT contract is initially for the next five years, with options to extend to nine years. Landgate said the value of the contract was expected to exceed $100 million over the full nine years. Kinetic chief executive Terry North said the company was excited about the opportunity to work with Landgate. “Five years ago the majority of multi-million dollar IT contracts in Australia were dominated by large American and European companies,” he said. “Landgate’s award of this contract to Kinetic IT is testament to the changing scene and recognises our company as a Tier 1 IT provider with proven value.”
