US multinational HP has launched the first Nuheara-developed hearing aid device under its three-year agreement with the Perth company.

The HP Elite Wireless Earbuds, developed by Nuheara under a $3.7 million Scope of Works agreement, have personalised audio tuning, adjustable noise cancellation and sound situation presets.

HP describes the product as “the world’s most advanced earbuds for collaboration”. It launched the earbuds at this year's Consumer Electronic Show, held at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Customers will be able to purchase the device, both as an option bundled with select HP notebook computers or for separate purchase, from April this year.

Nuheara chief executive Justin Miller said the earbuds validated the business' strong manufacturing and engineering team.

The company recently carried out an $11.5 million capital raising to support manufacturing, which was priced at 4 cents and closed oversubscribed.

The funds raised will also be used to accelerate Nuheara's Direct to Consumer sales business and marketing initiatives.

Nuheara remains in a trading halt, as requested on December 24.
