East Perth-based Fleetwood Corporation is vying for contracts with some of the state's major resource projects, submitting tenders for the Gorgon gas project and Gindalbie Metals' iron ore joint venture.
In an update to investors today, Fleetwood said the Gorgon tenders are for a 3,300 person village, offices and ancillary buildings.
Last week, the Environmental Protection Authority gave a highly conditional approval for the Chevron operated project, which has been estimated to cost $50 billion by Premier Colin Barnett.
Fleetwood has also lodged a tender for Gindalbie's 1,200 person village, which will house workers for the Karara iron ore joint venture with AnSteel.
Last week the EPA recommended the operation for ministerial approval.
Additionally, a tender was lodged for a 2,700 person village for CP Mining, the Perth-based management arm of CITIC Pacific which is currently progressing the Sino iron ore project.
