Connect Staffing Group secures contract with Ramsay Health Care
A Perth-based clinical workforce provider has secured a multi-million-dollar contract with ASX-listed Ramsay Health Care to supply staff across hospital facilities in Western Australia and Victoria.
Spanning two years, Connect Staffing Group’s contract covers 16 Ramsay Health Care hospitals and facilities with opportunities to expand into additional states, including New South Wales and Queensland.
CSG will provide registered nurses, enrolled nurses and allied health professionals across surgical, perioperative, medical, mental health and emergency department services.
Under WA Health's temporary nursing workforce contract, CSG is a contracted supplier, providing temporary registered nurses, enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing to health care providers throughout the state.
The company describes itself as one of the largest providers of temporary nursing personnel and assistants in nursing across metropolitan, regional and remote hospitals in WA.
“Through a responsive workforce model, the company assists WA Health in maintaining safe staffing levels, responding to workforce shortages and ensuring continuity of patient care,” CSG said in a statement.
Led by director Paul Morrison, the workforce provider also works closely with Department of Health contract authority NurseWest.
CSG’s contract with WA Health expires in March 2027, with the option of three two-year extensions, subject to NurseWest’s approval.
Established in 2004, the company supports public and private hospitals, aged care providers and healthcare organisations across WA, the Northern Territory, Tasmania, NSW and Victoria.
There are more than 1,100 active staff members and more than 400 client locations.
It was born from the merger of Connect Health Services (established 2004) and Elite Hospitality Personnel (established 2015).
Mr Morrison was a winner of Business News’ 40under40 awards in 2020 through his work with EHP.
