Local digital marketing agency Bam Creative took home seven awards at the annual Australian Web Awards last night, which recognises outstanding work by web designers and developers.

Bam Creative took in more awards than any other Western Australian entrant, with seven awards in the categories of personal, commercial, small business, startup, not for profit and social media.

The company received the awards for work done with clients including Go4Travel Blog, Craigcare, Smarter than Smoking and 6Q.

6Q, which featured as a Business News app/tech business of the week in March, won in both the startup and social media category.

“Whilst our focus is always on producing the best work for our clients, it is a nice side-effect when this work also picks up recognition nationally,” Bam Creative managing director Miles Burke said.

“We have always really valued the Australian Web Awards, as it is a program which our work is judged by our peers.”

Bam Creative director Patima Tantiprasut said last night was the 10th year in a row that the company had taken in awards at the Australian Web Awards.
