Leonie Baldock is one of Australia's richest people. She is a beneficiary of commercial deals struck by her grandfather Peter Wright (who was the business partner of Lang Hancock). Their children and grandchildren have continued to benefit from these deals, which deliver large royalties tied to Rio Tinto's iron ore production. Mr Wright's three children were the late Michael Wright (Ms Baldock's father), Angela Bennett and Julian Wright.
