Group Chief Executive, St John WA
Kevin Brown is group chief executive of St John WA, a role he has held since January 2023. As group CEO, Kevin leads St John WA in its mission to serve the Western Australian community, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and services, strengthening organisational capability and positioning St John WA for the future.
Kevin brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across complex operational, commercial and corporate environments in Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining St John WA, he was chief executive of Perth Airport, where he led the organisation for more than six years through a period of significant growth and disruption, including maintaining critical airport operations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout his career, Kevin has built a strong reputation for strategic leadership, organisational transformation and developing positive workplace cultures. At St John WA, he continues to apply that experience to the ongoing development of the organisation and the diverse services it provides to communities across Western Australia. Kevin has also held board and leadership roles with Tourism Western Australia, the Australian Institute of Management WA and Committee for Perth. Alongside his executive career, he has contributed to the community as a St John Country volunteer, event health services volunteer and medic. Kevin holds an MBA, Master of Science and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and Australian Institute of Management, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
