Hon. Cheryl Edwardes AO is one of Australia’s most influential boardroom leaders, with a distinguished career spanning law, politics and the resources sector. A former Western Australian Attorney-General and senior Minister, she has built a portfolio of prominent board and leadership roles across mining, energy and infrastructure. Her current board chair roles include Pacific Energy, Port Hedland International Airport and Westgold Resources.
As Independent Non-Executive Chair of Westgold Resources, Cheryl has led the Board through the company’s transformation from a junior miner into a leading ASX100 gold producer. One of only a small cohort of women chairing ASX100 companies, Cheryl has earned her reputation for driving value creation and guiding complex growth and transformation.
