Mr Southam is an FCPA with more than 30 years’ experience in operations, capital markets and finance across the resources and industrial sectors. David is currently the longest serving Non-Executive director of Ramelius Resources Limited, the Non-Executive Chair of Andean Silver and is Executive Chair of Cygnus Metals. Furthermore David is a Councillor for Curtin University
Prior roles include Managing Director of Mincor Resources NL, Executive Director of Western Areas Ltd, Non-Executive Director of Kidman Resources, Advisory Board Member for the Starlight Childrens’ Foundation and he has held senior executive roles within Brambles Group, ANZ Investment Bank and WMC Resources.
David has raised in billions through debt and equity markets, been involved in substantial M&A and divestment transactions, negotiated substantial offtake agreements in bulk and battery metals and lead companies through exploration, project development and operational phases.
