At the recent Self Storage Association of Australasia Annual Awards Night, KeepSafe Storage Balcatta was recognised with the highest award of Facility of the Year 2017 and also Small Operator of the Year 2017, across Australia and New Zealand, which makes it two years in a row for the WA based company.
Managing Director Shaun Bain said “with the Australian Self Storage Industry now boasting more than 1400 facilities, KeepSafe is extremely proud of the awards, especially as the KeepSafe Storage brand has only existed for a little over 2 years.
Furthermore, it is great to see a WA based company being recognised by the Self Storage Association as an industry leader whilst operating in the current difficult WA economy”.
The Directors, Management and staff of KBH Group are also proud to provide an update on the construction of their third state-of-the-art self-storage facility, conveniently located in Welshpool with over 170 metres of frontage and exposure to Leach Highway.
This is the third significant investment the KBH Group have made in Self Storage, with the total development cost of this project being circa $10million.
Welshpool is a strategic location for KBH Group, as the KeepSafe Brand will now provide self-storage options in Balcatta to the North, O’Connor to the South and Welshpool to the East.
Construction is due to be completed in the 1st quarter of 2018.
Managing Director Shaun Bain said that “An integral part of KBH’s strategy in the development of these facilities has been to focus on customer needs firstly, and then applying this knowledge and our experience to the detail in the planning and final build, which in turn delivers a self-storage experience that exceeds expectations at all levels”.
The new KeepSafe Storage Welshpool facility is currently being designed and will be built to the same industry leading standards as the two existing facilities in O’ Connor and Balcatta. The construction phase will engage 70+ workers.
The Welshpool facility will offer 650+ storage units of varying sizes to suit all residential and commercial customers, including 4000m2+ of hardstand for external storage of Caravans, Boats, Cars and Sea Containers.
KeepSafe Storage provides value added self-storage packages with numerous benefits including the following:-
Uncompromised 6 levels of security with individually alarmed units and monitored CCTV coverage, 24/7 access for customers, all weather loading dock, office open 7 days, free use of a move-in truck or trailer, range of trolleys, pallet jack and a forklift for on-site use. KeepSafe Storage also stocks a full range of boxes and packaging materials.
In line with the KBH Group’s mission to Develop, Manage and Grow they are in the process of planning additional KeepSafe Storage facilities in the Perth Metro area. Welshpool and all future developments will be designed to the same industry leading standards that are associated with the KeepSafe Storage brand.
