Swan Taxis launches cashless app update

Swan Taxis has launched an update for its app, which now allows customers to book a cab ride and make automatic cashless payments with the use of a credit card, similar to the service offered by competitor Uber.

I was really hoping for something special this time around but again they have skimped on UI/UX. Although it's better looking than their first attempt things have moved on since 2010 and now they seem like they are in 2012.

This is a step in the right direction. But there's still a 5% service fee on the payment, making Uber an even better deal. Retailers don't charge a fee for credit cards. Why does Swan Taxi?
