Rowley nets $2.3m from FMG share sale

Fortescue Metals Group executive director Graeme Rowley has pocketed more than $2.3 million after selling a sizeable chunk of shares on the Australian market.

In a notice to the Australian Securities Exchange, the director said he had sold 800,000 FMG shares on-market, at $2.95 each, to pocket $2.36 million.

Shares in FMG closed up 38 cents to $3.18 today.

An FMG spokesperson said the sale was for personal reasons.
