Mills and Wares biscuits were the best in Australia. Nothing has got close to them since they were bought out by Arnotts. Arnotts had the same range as Mills and Wares but the biscuits were no where as nice as Mills and Wares. The recipes must still be available for Mills ana Wares biscuits . Why on earth do they not produce them. My favourites were the Milky Bar , Milk Arrowroot , Mayfair Wafers , Granita , Fruit Lunch the list goes on. Whoever owns these recipes of Mills and Wares, should resurrect them and give Australians especially Western Australians that dream biscuit they loved.

I have been looking for information on West Australian biscuits and I saw a comment by Raymond Bullock. The only biscuit I could remember was Granita, my favourite. Thanks to Raymond's comment, I now have another to add to my list. I still eat weekly, Milk Arrowroot. Fruit Lunch was probably a little more of an afternoon tea snack for us. I aam referring back to a period about 1948, just after the war when we could afford biscuits which were not made at home.

what about Mills and Wares bringing back the Ritz cake? It was delicious and many folk I happen to talk to would love this done also. New manager, what about a new idea re the aforementioned! I have a feeling you may have been asked the same question so at least put it in your "suggestion"box.
