Business News has launched a new and improved calendar for business events in Western Australia, with technology developed by a local innovator.
Using the Scoop Digital search engine, the new calendar has a an easy to find menu covering a variety of different events, which displays the type of event sought, the industry focus or the event host.
The calendar also offers users the option to search for a huge variety of broader public events, attractions and things to do in WA.
Business News CEO Mark Pownall said it was great to team up with another Western Australian business to help local event hosts promote their businesses better. Events listed on the Business News calendar will also filter through to the broader Scoop database for display on its own site and potentially feed into third party websites.
“This is not just a cosmetic change, it’s a great tool for our subscribers and amplifies the reach of any event loaded into the system, including our own busy schedule of breakfasts, awards nights and industry sector briefings,” he said.
