Decimal wins Centrepoint contract

Financial planning technology group Decimal Software has won a contract to supply its services to Centrepoint Alliance for an undisclosed sum.

Financial planning technology group Decimal Software has won a contract to supply its services to Centrepoint Alliance for an undisclosed sum.

Michael Sertorio-chaired Decimal, which was recently acquired in a backdoor listing by Aviva Corporation, will provide its financial services and solutions platform to Centrepoint’s salaried advice business, Alliance Wealth & Protection.

NSW-based Centrepoint is a financial planning and small business enterprise insurance premium funding company.

“This commercial agreement is an important step for Decimal. It provides the company with the opportunity to work with a market leader in the insurance and financial services industry,” Decimal chief executive Carolyn Colley said.

“Having such an important player in the sector leverage our products is an important validation of our technology and its capabilities.”

Decimal recently entered into the mutual banking market by partnering with Perth-based P&N Bank.

Decimal shares were up 5 per cent to 10.5 cents each at 11am.
