Perth-based Crown Alloys is expanding its operations to be the newest special steel distributor in Western Australia.
Crown Alloys has been operating as an engineering steels importer for over four years and is now moving into the distribution space, stocking material in Perth for the Western Australian market.
Managing Director of Crown Alloys, Daniel Whyte, said his company saw an opportunity.
“With only currently two overseas companies distributing steel in the local market, we could see there was an opportunity for a local, family owned business to do things a little differently,” he said.
Daniel said as a family-run business, his focus was on distributing special steels to mechanical engineering companies, who needed flexibility and good service.
“We have the ability to process and cut to size to a customer’s requirements and deliver locally, quickly” he said.
