Simon Meyer has been in the recruitment industry for over 20 years and has worked in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Mr Meyer has extensive market and global experience and is a regular contributor in CEO circles to the conversation on innovation, entrepreneurship and Australia’s burgeoning SME and startup sectors.
He launched talent recruitment company FutureYou in April 2016 with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, and was its chief executive until December 2019 when he became the global managing director of talent solutions for Compono Talent Solutions, and subsequently as chief executive of Harrier Group in March 2021. Prior to FutureYou, Mr Meyer spent almost 11 years at Michael Page holding various director roles, including as managing director for Australia and New Zealand for the final 4.5 years of his tenure.
Mr Meyer was a finalist for Start-Up Executive of the Year at the 2017 Australian CEO Awards. FutureYou was named 2017 ‘The Rising Star’ by Recruitment International and Best Newcomer APAC by Global Recruiter in recognition of its impact on the Australian marketplace.
Mr Meyer is an advisory board member of the National Basketball League, University of Technology’s Advanced MBA Program and LifeChanger.
