Rohan Hockings was first appointed as chief executive and director of PYC Therapeutics in 2018.
Prior to undertaking this role, he has worked in a global management consulting firm, within the equity capital markets team at a national law firm and as a medical practitioner.
He has a strong interest in both venture capital and private equity, and the role of each in the delivery of better health outcomes.
In 2022, Mr Hockings was a recipient of the Business News 40under40 Awards, a finalist in its First Amongst Equals category, and winner of the medium-sized business category his work in leading PYC Therapeutics to developing precision medications for retinitis pigmentosa and other eye diseases.
Rohan Hockings holds double degrees in medicine and law.
