Michael Gollschewski

Michael Gollschewski is one of Rio Tinto’s top executives in Western Australia, having been appointed managing director Pilbara mines in 2013. He joined Rio Tinto in 2007, initially as general manger mining & infrastructure projects before taking change of the Greater Brockman operations. Before joining Rio, Mr Gollschewski spent 15 years with Alcoa in WA and Jamaica. He also worked for Queensland Alumina and CSR, after graduating from Queensland University of Technology. He has been a director of the Australian Institute of Management WA since 2013 and a member of CEDA’s WA advisory council since 2015.
