Kylie Radford, along with her husband, started Morrison from scratch with very limited capital from the sale of personal possessions and unencumbered borrowed funding. During her first year of operation, she experienced their make-or-break period during some hard times. This first year saw Morrison take off with overheads not just met but excelled and profits successfully achieved – all of which set a course and cemented Morrison’s business future. Ms Radford and her husband had a vision of a modern store selling their own designs to loyal customers and through determination and intellectual capital, have achieved this beyond their dreams.
