Ken Nilsson

Ken Nilsson has over 35 years of international mine construction and production experience. Mr Nilsson was the chief operating officer of Troy Resources from April 1997 to December 2011 and then became director of project development. Since his relocated from Australia in 2002, he has overseen the construction and operation of all the company's South American mines. He was responsible for the construction and development of Troy Resources' Western Australian operations at Sandstone, and relocated to Brazil to oversee the building of the Sertao Mine in Goias state. In 2007, Mr Nilsson led the team responsible for the relocation of the Sertao plant and the development of the Andorinhas Mine, and subsequently relocated to Argentina and managed the development of its Casposo operation. He is also responsible for operations at the Karouni Gold Project in Guyana.
