Gregory (Greg) Hall was the founding managing director of Toro Energy. Mr Hall is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience in the resources industry, including 24 years in the uranium industry in operational management, senior marketing and managing director roles. He was previously director sales – bauxite and alumina with Comalco, a member of the Rio Tinto Group, which he joined in 2004. Prior to this he held the role of marketing manager (North America) for ERA Ltd from 2000 to 2004, including a period of one year managing business improvement processes at ERA’s Ranger project. He was manager – mining of ERA Ltd’s Ranger and Jabiluka operations, and held a variety of senior technical and operational management roles at WMC Resources at its nickel operations and the Olympic Dam project, where he was underground manager and mining manager. He undertook a secondment to LKAB’s iron ore mining operations in Sweden in 1992/93.
