David Templeman

David Templeman is the Australian Labor Party Member of the Legislative Assembly for Mandurah. He is the Minister for Local Government, Heritage, Culture and the Arts; and Leader of the House. Prior to Labor's state election win in March 2017, he was Shadow Minister for Local Government, Community Services, Peel and Opposition Whip. Before entering politics, Mr Templeman was a primary school teacher and served on the Mandurah City Council between 1994 and 2001, including as deputy mayor from 1997.
