Wide Open Agriculture, backed by Netherlands-based sustainability-focused investment fund Commonland, aims to develop greenhouse operations in the Wheatbelt. It plans for water-secure, intensive horticulture, using migrant and refugee labour to rebuild populous communities and social infrastructure in the region, and to regenerate soil and waterway quality.
The company listed on the ASX in 2018.
