Professionals Real Estate has hired Glen Rolle as business development manager in an effort to strengthen its executive team in Western Australia. Mr Rolle began his property career in Perth in 2009 before moving to New Zealand where he has remained for the past 13 years. While living in New Zealand, Mr Rolle worked as a sales agent for agencies such as Colliers International and as holiday rental group Goodstays general manager. Mr Rolle has returned to Perth and is set to bring his property and management experience to his new role with Professionals.

Mary Anne Stephens was appointed as a non-executive director at HBF, bringing her extensive experience in health, aged care and insurance to the organisation. Ms Stephens has been serving as chair for Diabetes Western Australia for eight years, VenuesWest for eight years and Council on the Ageing Western Australia for more than four years. From 2017 to 2019, Ms Stephens worked as Amana Living chief financial officer and prior to this she was interim CFO at Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations for three months., Ms Stephens has also worked as CFO at RAC Insurance for five years.

Alain Musikanth has been appointed as Judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, effective November 6. Mr Musikanth was admitted to practice in Australia in 2002 after practising in the legal profession in South Africa since 1994. He has spent most of his legal career working in commercial and tax law and has extensive experience as a trial and appellate counsel. Mr Musikanth was appointed senior counsel in 2018. Prior to his appointment as Judge, he served as board chair of Francis Burt Chambers.

Disability service provider Rocky Bay has revealed chartered accountant Geoff Lotter would join its board of directors, bringing more than 40 years of experience across a variety of industries to the organisation. Mr Lotter worked as a partner at EY for more than 22 years, commencing in 1999 and resigning from the accounting company in October 2021. Mr Lotter has served as director and treasurer for Cycling Development Foundation WA for nearly eight years, Housing Choices WA non-executive director for four years, Perth USAsia Centre member for two years and Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions chair for two years.

Water treatment solutions company Parkway Corporate has recruited Melbourne-based Mike Hodgkinson as chief financial officer, following the resignation of Robert van der Laan who had held the role since 2011. Mr Hodgkinson was recruited at ASX-listed Parkway as chief commercial officer in June after two years at Relectrify as vice president finance and operations. Before this, Mr Hodgkinson worked as Capricorn Power chief executive officer and chief financial officer for four years.

Felix Real Estate has announced Natalie Davies as joint-managing partner and Kiara Rotaru as marketing executive. Ms Davies is a chartered surveyor and has worked as associate director at Savills office leasing for the past four years. Before this, Ms Davies held roles as senior property manager at Perth Airport and Savills. Ms Rotaru has a breadth of marketing and communications experience, including seven years working at Mercedes-Benz. Liberty Flexible Workspaces launched Felix Real Estate in early 2023 to assist businesses to navigate the future of workplaces.

WA-based NeuroSpine Institute managing director Colin La Galia has been appointed to the board of The Hospital Research Foundation Group, a South Australian medical research organisation. Mr La Galia has nearly 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles in Australia and internationally. The pharmaceuticals and healthcare executive serves on a collection of boards, working as a director of NeuroSpine Institute’s research arm NeuroSpine Foundation, Avon Recovery Centre board member, biotech company Meliorem advisory panel chair, education service provider StemSmart advisory panel chair and Lifesciences WA foundational committee member.

OP Properties has recruited Maxwell Watkins as development manager. His appointment was part of the expansion of OP Properties’ property advisory and client-side project management team. Prior to this, Mr Watkins worked at Bridge42 for more than five years as property advisor, a role in which he worked across a diverse range of projects in Perth.
