Managing Director, Eastern Guruma
Tania is the Managing Director of Eastern Guruma and an Eastern Guruma Traditional Custodian from Muntulgura Guruma in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Since 2004, Tania has held the position of Managing Director at Eastern Guruma, prior to this, Tania has also contributed her expertise to the health and education departments, focusing on Aboriginal communities. Tania’s active involvement in the operations of Eastern Guruma underscores her commitment to actively employing Aboriginal people and fostering pathways for their training and education in employment opportunities. Furthermore, Tania is an advocate for the preservation of Aboriginal culture and traditions, emphasising the importance of land, family, lore, ceremony, and language as the five interconnected elements of Aboriginal culture.
