Founder and Chief Executive, zero2hero
Ashlee Harrison is the founder and chief executive of zero2hero and a council member at Curtin University.
After losing her stepfather to suicide, Ashlee founded zero2hero a youth mental health and suicide prevention charity. Under her leadership, zero2hero has grown from a grassroots initiative into one of Western Australia’s leading youth mental health organisations, reaching more than 400,000 young people and delivering programs across every region of the state.
Ashlee brings extensive experience across leadership, strategy, governance, mental health, communications and health promotion. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Relations and Marketing, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and is an accredited suicide prevention facilitator. Her leadership and contribution to the WA have been recognised through numerous honours, including a 2025 Business News 40under40 Award and the Community, Social Enterprise or Not-for-Profit category award, Young Western Australian of the Year, the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, a Pride of Australia Medal and the WA Youth Award for Education.
